Mirror, Mirror on the wall
Who is this girl that stares so dull?
Heaved a sigh, she stares straight at her eyes
Down to her body, she sneers in disgust.
Strip off her skin, her truth she conceals
Winces at what she sees as she peels.
Takes a needle she tattoos,
Cut her skin, like a skilled chef through.
Write words of her pain
What she lack, what she don’t gain
How she feels she’s not enough
What she thinks she’s not enough
Why she thinks she could never be enough.
Steps back to see what she create
Crimson blood flows down, a river of hate
She walks mindless, her skin all teared
To a room of new skin to patch the agony untold, agony unheard.
